Spatial Planning
The Madraswala Residence is a contemporary home shaped by the contrast of bold lines and gentle curves. Conceived as a layered, light filled space, it brings together structure and warmth, refined yet comfortably lived-in.
It embodies a modern Indian sensibility, expressive without excess, where materials and design details are allowed to take the lead.

Living & Gathering Spaces
The living areas are designed as comfortable yet visually striking zones. Curved seating, layered lighting, and custom furniture pieces soften the architectural shell, making the space inviting and personal.
Wood finishes and rich upholstery add warmth, while controlled color accents bring depth without overwhelming the neutral base.
Design Intent
The core design intent was to create a home that feels fluid and continuous, while still clearly defining zones for living, gathering, and retreat. Lines bring order and rhythm; curves introduce softness and movement.
Key ideas guiding the design:
-
Juxtaposition of straight lines with sculptural curves
-
Visual continuity across floors and spaces
-
Thoughtful use of natural light to enhance form
-
A warm, contemporary palette grounded in texture
